Congratulations! You are now about to begin your journey as a Stony Brook Southampton student. You will be joining one of the most innovative and invigorating academic communities in the nation.
Steps to Enroll
- Pay Your Deposits Online or by Mail: Your Admissions Letter will include your Stony Brook Southampton ID Number and Password to login to our SOLAR system. Once logged in, you can make your payments by clicking on "Pay Initial Deposits/Fee" under For New Students. Or, use your Admissions Packet forms to pay by mail.
- Pay online or by mail by the date indicated on your Letter of Admission.
- Both the $100 Tuition Deposit and $180 Orientation Fee are required of all new students.
- The $200 Campus Housing Deposit is required for those who wish to live on campus.
- Complete Your New Student Preferences: Log into the SOLAR System and click on "New Student Preferences" under For New Students. Tell us your preferences for Living Learning Environments, Orientation, campus housing, roommates, meal plans, and more. All new students are required to submit their New Student Preferences online.
- Accept/Decline Financial Aid Awards: Click on "Financial Aid" under the Student Financial Services section in SOLAR to accept/decline your awards online.
- Complete the Meningitis Form: Under "My To Do List Items" in SOLAR, click on and complete the Meningitis Form. Students under the age of 18 must print out and submit a PDF of the Meningitis Form.
- Complete the Health Form: Print out a PDF of the Health Form. This form must be submitted before attending Orientation.
- Send Us Final Transcripts and AP Scores: Mail your final transcripts and AP scores to:

- Attend Orientation: Information about Orientation will follow receipt of your tuition deposit.
