Charles Gargano
Charles A. Gargano, former US Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago and long-time friend of Stony Brook University, has agreed to establish the Ambassador Charles Gargano Chair in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Stony Brook Medicine.

CNN broadcaster's $50,000 gift to the Marie Colvin Center for International Reporting will exponentially expand the Center’s ability to send student journalists on overseas reporting trips and assist in inspiring, training and nurturing the next generation of foreign correspondents.
