Anna Lubitz is a junior majoring in Biology (Pre-Veterinary track) and minoring in Music (Vocal Performance) at Stony Brook University. She has been elected Undergraduate Student Government (USG) President for the 2012-2013 academic year. She is also a Commuter Assistant, Student Ambassador, Jewish Foundation for Education of Women Scholar/Intern and is a member of the SBU Marching Band, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Sigma Beta Honor Society.
During the summer of 2012, Anna represented Stony Brook University at the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) in Washington D.C./University of Maryland, and at the SUNY Levine Institute (SUNY Global Center) in New York City, where she served as intern for Vice Chancellor Mitch Leventhal.
Anna has sung the National Anthem at SBU men's and women’s basketball, football and lacrosse games. She has also performed for the American East Football and Basketball Championships, as well as the NCAA National Women’s Lacrosse Tournament hosted in Kenneth Lavalle Stadium.
She resides in Setauket, New York.
