LOCATION
Stony Brook is located on the North Shore of Long Island, midway between Manhattan and Montauk. Our 1,100 acres are in a beautiful, natural setting close to beaches, woodlands, and historic villages. With a Long Island Railroad station on campus, it’s a quick ride to New York City and all its cultural offerings.

Campus tours are available on weekdays and Saturdays throughout the academic year and summer when classes are in session. Our admissions counselors can help you to discover the wealth of opportunities at Stony Brook, talk with you about your interests and career aspirations, and answer questions.
