Three Days that Can Change the World
Be a witness to history. Join us as world-changing decisions are made to save our protected wildlife areas.

Dr. Richard Leakey, the world’s foremost authority on wildlife and nature conservation, has established the Stony Brook World Environmental Forum. Its mission is to focus the attention of science, business, and government on urgent environmental problems and to mobilize the resources of intergovernmental agencies and international corporations to implement concrete, tangible solutions.

The first conference of the Forum will address the effects of global climate change on the world’s protected areas, and the consequences for biodiversity. The findings will be shared with members of United Nations agencies, the World Bank, and the international community. The Forum will be held at Stony Brook University, located on Long Island, New York, May 6-8, 2005.

The threat to life is real. Only concerted, collaborative efforts can change the course of history. Please join us in this important initiative.

Due to Foundation and private support, we are now able to offer new registration categories at reduced rates. See the registration page.
