This committee provides guidance and support to three subcommittees.  It coordinates and communicates the activities between the subcommittees to focus on the mission of Healthier U.

Marketing and Website Subcommittee:

Purpose – to promote Healthier U (HU) events to faculty and staff through a variety of marketing and communications strategies. Includes enhancement of the website, use of social media (Facebook, Twitter), print materials and use of photography and video. This subcommittee coordinates its activities with the Programming and Budget Subcommittee. It also consults with the Strategic Planning Committee.

Programming and Budget Subcommittee:

Purpose – to identify, design and implement annual and short-term wellness programming and events for faculty and staff. This includes primary research consisting of a review of past programming and events and prior employee surveys. The committee’s role will be to establish program criteria for the type of events and workshops that will be accepted and promoted by Healthier U.

Strategic Planning Subcommittee:

Purpose – to determine evidenced-based best practices for the most effective wellness interventions that promote healthy and productive behaviors among faculty and staff. Develop a 2-3 year strategic plan with specific goals and objectives to support a culture of wellness.
