Q: What is the minimum age for volunteers?
A: You must be 16 or older in order to work on the jobsite.

Q: What if I want to sign up for more than one day?
A: You are welcome to volunteer for multiple days throughout the build process.

Q: Will the homeowner be working at the site?
A: Yes, you will be working alongside the homeowner. While there is no guarantee she will be there every day, it's likely she will be there quite often in order to fulfill her "sweat-equity" requirements.

Q: Do I need any experience in order to volunteer?
A: No, you don't need prior experience in order to participate! Qualified Habitat staff will be on site to show you how to hold a hammer, hang siding, move roof trusses, etc. If you've never volunteered at a build before, it's a lot of fun and a wonderful experience!

Q: Are students encouraged to volunteer?
A: Yes, student volunteers are welcome and encouraged.
