Seawolves Profile Pics Go Viral on Facebook
Hundreds of Seawolves boosters, including students, staff, alumni, and fans from across the country, have joined together to create a viral work of art — a mosaic Seawolf logo consisting of newly-minted "Shock the World" profile pics.

The social media tour de force is the brainchild of student-athlete Hajime Ichikawa '13. A Facebook page anchoring the effort encourages Seawolves fans to take photos of themselves wearing Stony Brook gear and flashing the team's suddenly famous "OK" sign. The resulting pictures (like this, this, and this) were posted as Facebook avatars and transformed into a photo-mosaic by student-athletes Mike Penn '15 and Allison Zelnick '14.
Stony Brook students hope to see their viral initiative go nationwide as the Seawolves enter their first College World Series this weekend — it's just one more way to #ShockTheWorld.
