Web Services


Reporting to the Vice President for External Relations, Web Services is responsible for the overall look, feel, and structure of the main University web site, as well as associated second-level pages and mini-sites. We create web sites for University and Presidential initiatives and also build departmental and administrative web sites as resources permit.

We manage the University home page on a daily basis, including placement of news stories, images, and promotions. (Contact Jacob Levich for inquiries and comments about home page placements.)

Through the online newsletter Happenings, we cover and publicize day-to-day events, announcements, and personalities on campus.  (Contact Lynne Roth to inquire about Happenings coverage.)

We are also responsible for promoting University events via digital media, including the main University Web calendar and digital signage.  (Contact Sherrill Jones to inquire about promoting your events online.)


We provide guidance and training in web navigation, design, and branding. In some cases we provide end-to-end website design and creation; in others we supply help and resources as needed. We also offer guidance in the use of supported social media; e.g., Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.

We can also assist you in creating your website with our Content Management System (CMS), which will allow you or your designees to manage and update web pages without knowledge of HTML. CMS training sessions are scheduled periodically. (Contact Jacob Levich to arrange for a consultation.)
