Stony Brook University's new School of Journalism is the first and only undergraduate school of journalism in New York State’s public university system. With a focus on the high-tech future of the media, its mission is to train the next generation of TV correspondents, producers and anchors, newspaper reporters and editors, online news managers, designers and reporters and magazine writers.
