COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Office of Community Relations-The Office of Community Relations was created to maintain an ongoing dialogue with the University's Long Island neighbors. The Director of Community Relations meets regularly with civic, business, and other community organizations from Centereach, Port Jefferson, Smithtown, St. James, and the Three Village area to keep all interested parties up to date on University activities. The Office briefs interested individuals and groups about projects and issues that may affect the community and informs community members about University events and resources available for their use and enjoyment. The University has hundreds of programs, initiatives, and special events that can benefit the immediate community and all of Long Island.
