Ongoing campus beautification to involve temporary route, access changes
The University effort to beautify and improve the main entrance to the campus is ongoing. Construction crews continue the renovation of the area in front of the Administration building and the Fine Arts, Staller and Wang Centers. Certain pedestrian access routes in and around these areas will remain closed until project completion, which is expected by the middle of May, 2006.
Visitors to the Administration Building during this period should use the second floor bridge from the Administration garage. The ramp from the Academic Mall and the Fine Arts building will be open and accessible to the Staller and Wang Centers..
For those with physical disabilities:
The final touch to the roadway project will work to beautify the grounds along the main entranceway. The landscaping will begin in April, with completion expected by the end of May. The landscaping plan includes a variety of stunning trees and flowers. Also planned is the re-opening of the Babies' and Children's Memorial Garden and seating area.
