Important
A Ceremony Attendance Form must be completed on the SOLAR System no later than midnight 5/3/13 in order to obtain tickets. If you have difficulty completing the form on the SOLAR System, contact the Office of Conferences and Special Events at (631) 632-6320.
Campus
Stony Brook University consists of 125 buildings situated on 1,039 acres on the north shore of Long Island. The main Commencement ceremony scheduled on May 24, 2013 at the Kenneth P. LaValle stadium will take place rain or shine.
To avoid congestions surrounding the stadium on 5/24, we highly recommend parking at the South P-lot accessed from the south entrance off Nicolls Road and utilize the bus service to main campus. Buses will run 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for commencement guests to and from various points (see Commencement campus map). Guests should be aware that the distance between buildings may be too difficult to walk. For those unable to walk this distance, we highly recommend guests viewing the live webcast of the main ceremony from the SB website.

- University Main Commencement 5/24/13, 11:00 am
The link for the above ceremonies will be available on the Stony Brook home page on 5/23 and again on 5/24. The ceremonies will then be archived and available online for two weeks following the ceremonies at: tlt.stonybrook.edu/webcast
