Seawolves Football and Sunrise Fund's Play Fit-Stay Fit

I encourage all of you to come out Saturday, August 30 for a great day of Seawolves football and seize the opportunity to be a player in tackling childhood cancer.

The game between the Stony Brook Seawolves and the Colgate Raiders begins at 6:00 pm in LaValle Stadium and will be followed by great raffles and a post-game fireworks display.

The game will benefit Stony Brook University Pediatric Oncology's Sunrise Fund in its commitment to raise awareness about childhood cancer and support research and programs helping childhood cancer
survivors and their families. Funds raised will support Play Fit-Stay Fit! a comprehensive wellness program that provides physical activity, nutritional education, and psychosocial counseling for childhood cancer survivors and their families. Play Fit-Stay Fit! is supported by the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Enjoy an exciting day of football and be a hero to children and families battling a devastating and sometimes life-threatening disease.
