Office of Research Compliance
The Office of Research Compliance (ORC) is responsible for providing administrative and regulatory support for the federally mandated committees that review research involving
human subjects, laboratory animals, and recombinant DNA.
ORC also coordinates investigations of non-compliance pertaining to the above research activities, and assists the Vice President of Research in handling allegations of scholarly misconduct. ORC serves as liaison between the University Financial Disclosure Committee and the Institutional Review Boards when a conflict of interest is present for investigators conducting research involving human subjects.
