The current version of Oracle used by RF is not accessible through a MAC computer.

Operating System Requirements

Oracle applications clients are certified for use with only the following operating systems:
• Microsoft Windows 95
• Microsoft Windows 98
• Microsoft Windows NT
• Microsoft Windows 2000

System Requirements

The following minimum system requirements must be met:
• Pentium 266
• 64 Megabytes RAM
• 1 gigabyte hard drive

Note: Performance of the Oracle applications interface is directly affected by the availability of resources on the client PC. Other programs that are open and
running on a user's PC can diminish the amount of available memory and CPU. Computers that have large files loaded as background wallpaper and graphic
intensive screensavers (like OpenGL) may also hinder client performance.

RF recommends the use of a personal computer with more than the minimum requirements that can handle all PC programs that need to run simultaneously for that user.

Software Requirements

Browser Requirements
Oracle applications and JInitiator are certified by Oracle for use with the following browsers:
• Microsoft Internet Explorer - version 5.0 or 5.5 (5.5 is recommended)
• Netscape Navigator version 4.7x (where x is greater or equal to 6)

Note: Although newer versions of these browsers are available, they are not certified or recommended with the applications. Browser versions that are not certified by Oracle may yield unpredictable results during application use.

JInitiator - Version 1.1.8.13
This is a browser plug-in that provides the Java scripts that are necessary to access OASIS through the Web. Once installed, the JInitiator will use approximately 11 megabytes of hard drive space

Acrobat - Version 5
Printing from the OASIS system requires the Acrobat Reader.
