Jinitiator
The Jinitiator is a web browser plug-in, created by Oracle, that permits web access to the RF Oracle Databases through JAVA.
Jinitiator does not currently work on Mac Computers.
We are also informed that the current Jinitiator is not compatible with Netscape 6 or Internet Explorer 6

To Download and install the ORACLE Jinitiator

  • Click on the following link: jinitiator11813.exe
  • Select the directory into which you wish to download the file (and remember the directory's name).
  • When the download is complete, open the directory into which you have downloaded the file and click on the file name (Jinitiator11813.exe) to execute it.
  • The program will incorporate itself into either Netscape or Microsoft Explorer, or both if you have them (but they must be on your computer before you execute the above file).
  • While the installation is straightforward, some users may experience problems. If you experience problems with the Jinitiator installation, please call Client Support (2-9800).

Acrobat Reader

The Acrobat Reader is a plug-in created by Adobe which permits the display and printing of documents in the Adobe portable document format (pdf)
