IRBNet

http://www.irbnet.org

IRBNet is the electronic submission, management, and administration program for Stony Brook University's Insitutional Review Boards (CORIHS, Committee on Research Involving Human Subjects). It must be utilized for the submission of new and continuing applications packages for all types of review (i.e., exempt, expedited and full review).

If your study is currently approved on paper, you are encouraged to transfer it into the electronic format as soon as possible, by undergoing early continuing review. Instructions for doing so are in Section XIV of the Instructions for SBU and BNL Investigators, below. Any amendments, adverse events, and other revisions that pertain to the study must be submitted on paper until such time as you undergo continuing review via IRBNet.

So, what are you waiting for? Go to www.irbnet.org and begin the simple process of registering with IRBNet by clicking on 'New User registration', in the top right corner. Then start creating your studies!

If you have any questions, or would like to schedule in-person training, please contact the Office of Research Compliance, at 631-632-9036.
