Request Your Stony Brook ID#

If you are a former student and would like your Stony Brook ID# and password in order to access the SOLAR System, you must submit a written request which includes the following information:

Your Name
Date of Birth
Years Attended
Major Declared or Program Attended
Degree Earned & Year (If applicable)
Home Address that would be in the Stony Brook System
Current Daytime Phone Number
Return Fax Number where you can receive the information
YOUR SIGNATURE with date

Requests must be faxed to (631) 632-9491
Requests are processed by the close of business the same day they are received. (M-F)

Students who attended prior to 2001 can obtain their Stony Brook ID# by clicking here.


Students may request a SOLAR Password Reset if they already know their Stony Brook ID#.
