Bookstore Dates and Events
Throughout the year the University Bookstore at Stony Brook offers various sales and discounts on much of its merchandise. The Bookstore also sponsors and participates in various helpful community events, in addition to being the primary textbook resource for Stony Brook students and faculty. Check back here periodically for specifics on upcoming sales and special events at the Bookstore.
Campus Lifetime Events
All events are on Wednesday's in the University Bookstore (unless noted otherwise) from 1pm to 2pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
NOVEMBER 18: Woodturning Event
NOVEMBER 25: Thanksgiving Eve (no event)
DECEMBER 9: Day of Beauty (12-4pm)
Textbook Requistions
For Faculty Members
All Spring 2009 textbook requisitions are due, October 15, 2008, and all Fall 2009 textbook requisitions are due April 15, 2009. If you will be teaching a course during those semesters and require books to be ordered for your students, please submit your order to the Bookstore by this date, or as soon as possible, so that your orders can be completed before the start of the semester.
