Senior Counsel in Charge
Susan Blum has been practicing law in the fields of higher education and academic health care for more than thirty years. She joined the Stony Brook Office of General Counsel in 1994 following eight years at the Suffolk Regional Office of the New York Attorney General, with five years as Assistant Attorney General in Charge. She had served as counsel to University of Maryland at Baltimore, University of Maryland Hospital, Morgan State University and Maryland Public Broadcasting. As Senior Counsel in Charge at Stony Brook, Ms. Blum oversees an office of four attorneys as well as paralegals, law interns and fellows.
