LAW SCHOOL TIMELINE Click (printable version)

The following checklist presumes law school entrance in the fall following graduation from Stony Brook. The schedule can be condensed, but applications need to be made approximately ten months in advance of fall matriculation at law school, and an additional three to six months of concentrated study for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is necessary to maximize your score. If you have questions, stop by the Academic & Pre-Professional Advising Center, E-2360 Melville Library or cal (631) 632-7082, option 2. Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. You can also e-mail questions to prelaw@stony brook.edu
