Spotlight on 2011 Director of the Year Finalist Robert Lenahan

Security Services Assistant Jennifer Tomins was recognized by the Ambulatory Cancer Services of the Stony Brook University Medical Center for continually going "Above and Beyond" for cancer patients while performing her job duties. Jennifer has been with the University Police Department for 18 years. This is just one example of her dedication to serving the public. University Police is proud to have Jennifer representing the department. Congratulations Jennifer!

Senator John J. Flanagan paid a visit to Stony Brook University to recognize the recent accreditation of the University Police Department. Presenting Chief Robert Lenahan with a Certificate of Recognition, Senator Flanagan expressed his pride in the hard work of the Police Department and the contributions of all state workers.
