All concerts will take place at the Avram Theater on the Stony Brook Southampton campus. Concerts will begin at 7.30 p.m.

A Personal Message from Artistic Director Christine Goerke

"Wild horses couldn't stop me!"

That's what I said when they asked me to organize Sustainable Pleasures at Stony Brook Southampton. Having grown up on Long Island and graduated from Stony Brook, and all through my singing career, I dreamt of bringing my friends, with their world-class, drop-dead fabulous voices, back to my old stomping grounds. And here they are, in all their glory.

In each intimate evening you'll get an idea of what makes us vocalists tick. No other musical instrument matches the thrill of a gifted human voice, raised in spectacular song. In a wonderful way, each singer in our series performs music that's intensely personal and easy to share. Each singer opens a window into their souls—there are no costumes, no sets, no fancy machinery.

Everything depends on the artist's voice, the music, and you.
