Science and Mathematics Outreach Programs

The Center for Science & Mathematics Education( formerly known as LIGASE) offers several exciting outreach programs in science and math to middle and high school students. During the academic year, teachers bring their classes to the Biotechnology Teaching Laboratory for molecular biology lab experiences in restriction enzyme analysis, bacterial transformation and forensics. In the summer, there are several camps offered at both the middle school and high school level in biotechnology, forensics, general science and mathematics.
