Thank you for your interest in employment with the Professional Education Program at Stony Brook University.Adjunct Instructor in the TESOL Teacher Education Program Department of Linguistics, Stony Brook University
The Department of Linguistics at Stony Brook University invites applicants for an adjunct teaching position in the TESOL teacher education program for Fall 2013, with the possibility of extension to Spring 2014. The successful candidate will conduct three formal observations of each of the student teacher candidates who are placed in schools on Long Island and teach the weekly evening seminar. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Minimum requirements for this position are: NYSED Certification in TESOL or equivalent, Master's in TESOL or related field; 3- 5 years experience in school administration and / or experience in pre-service and in-service education.
