Parking Garages
The University has three multi-tiered
parking garages on campus to serve faculty, staff, students and visitors.
Two of these garages, the Hospital Garage and the Health Sciences Center Garage, are located on East Campus. The third one, the Administration Garage, is located on West Campus.

Hourly Parking

Note *: Daily parking is $2.00 per hour to a $10.00 maximum per 24-hours.
Rates are the same for all Parking Garages and parking is available on a daily or monthly basis.
Monthly Parking
Monthly parking is available to eligible employees, students, visitors and vendors at the following rates:

*Valid for the length of the patient's stay to a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
**The evening parking card has access to the Administration and Health Sciences Garages between 05:30PM and 11:00PM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
Stony Brook University department validation stickers are $5.00 each.
There is an "Evening Rate" available in the Administration Parking Garage, which allows for parking in that Garage from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM for $4.00.
Please Note
- Payment for your monthly parking garage card is due on the first of the month. Sign-up today for the payroll parking deduction program and avoid the rush to pay.
- Students, employees and vendors pay for parking on a full monthly basis even if less than one month of service is used.
- SB employees/students/affiliates still using white garage cards can opt to switch their garage card to SBID for garage access when making a payment.

Sign-Up for Payroll Parking Deduction
All monthly parking garage card patrons are strongly encouraged to use payroll deduction to pay for garage services. Payroll deduction is the quickest and easiest way to pay for garage services. In order to enroll in payroll deduction, State and Research Foundation employees must download one of the Payroll Parking Deduction Authorization forms and follow the directions on the form.
Enrolling in payroll deduction allows State and Research Foundation employees the ability to deduct parking garage fees from their paycheck automatically and is the most convenient method of parking garage payment available.
