Do I need to take the On-line Writing Placement Essay?

If you have completed an English composition or other equivalent course (3 credits or more) at a previous institution and earned at least a grade of C or better, OR earned at least a 3, 4, or 5 on an AP English Literature/Comp or English Language/Comp exam, do not take the online writing placement essay.
