Welcome to Stony Brook University's National Student Exchange website.
National Student Exchange is similar to Study Abroad in many respects.
Both programs widen your horizons academically, personally, and socially.
You get a chance to study at another campus for a specified period of time
and return to your home campus greatly enriched by the opportunities and
experiences you enjoyed somewhere else. The major difference between the
two programs is that Study Abroad takes you outside the United States and
National Student Exchange keeps you in the United States and her territories
of Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and participating universities in Canada.
This website cannot answer all your questions about the program, but it does give you basic information. You need to attend an information session to get more details about NSE. There is also a comprehensive NSE brochure that will be distributed at the information sessions for your personal reference.
