What is the minor in Human Sexual and Gender Development?
Through courses -- taught in Eisenhower College and campus wide -- and informal interactions with faculty and other students, the Human Sexual and Gender Development minor (department code LHD) will give you an interdisciplinary perspective on the evolving concept of a gendered, sexual self. You will examine issues such as how gender roles are learned, to what degree gender differences exist, how sexuality and sexual orientation develop, and the ways in which gay men and women are portrayed in the media.

What are the requirements of the minor?
The minor requires 20 credits, all completed with a letter grade of C or higher.
You do not have to live in Eisenhower College to minor in Human Sexual and Gender Development. However if you are a residential student, we encourage you to do so.
