The Center for Science and Mathematics Education awards NSF Robert Noyce Scholarships

Congratulations to students Alexis Blondrage (biology), Jose Castaneda (biology), Stacia Daniels (biology), Emily Fox (biology), Anne Ippolito (earth & space sciences), Michael Jordan (earth & space sciences), Jennelle Lee (math), Cynthia Lopez (earth & space sciences), Adriana McCoy (biology), Aimee Mendoza (earth & space sciences), Jaclyn Sura (math), Kamelia Waskiewicz (biology), and Xiaojie (Gina) Zhao (chemistry), for receiving $10,000 National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Fellowships. These fellowships encourage outstanding students and professionals to teach mathematics and science in high needs school districts. These awards were made possible by NSF grant #531856 to Stony Brook University.
