of New York at Stony Brook, The Quarterly Review of Biology was founded in
1926 by Raymond Pearl and was purchased by the Stony Brook Foundation, Inc.
in the mid-1960s. Among its editors were H. Bentley Glass, Frank C. Erk,
and Rosemary G. Smolker.
