Introduction
The Stony Brook Authors, Editors and Artists record group (RG 56) is
comprised of the monographs, edited journals, and video authored and
created by the University's faculty and staff.
The Department of Conferences and Special Events, under
the direction of former university president John Marburger, created
an annual event to recognize and celebrate the scholarly,
literary and artistic contributions of the University. A
brochure is published annually and an accompanying exhibit is created
each academic year in the Main Library.
The material in this collection encompasses all topics and disciplines, reflecting the diverse research, educational and artistic endeavors of the University. The Library regularly accessions publications through gift, purchase and occasionally the transfer of material from the circulating collections (ex. book is out of print).
Additional information about participating in the annual celebration can be found at: Artists, Authors & Editors Celebration.
Titles can be located by searching STARS, Stony Brook University Libraries' online catalog, which provides information for all cataloged holdings housed within the University Libraries.
