The Campus Publications
collection consists of print and ephemeral material created by the
University. The publications can be consulted without restrictions.

Introduction
The Campus Publications Collection (RG 54) contains materials that have been generated by campus faculty, staff, and student organizations. They provide a unique source of information related to the development and the evolution of the campus community.
The collection is open to research without restrictions in accordance
with general access principles, and under the discretion of the Department.
All requests to use or reproduce materials should be addressed to staff.
In citing the collection, or its individual publications, please credit
the title in accordance with the appropriate citation methodology
that relates to your chosen discipline. Materials within this collection
may be located with the use of this finding aid, available
online and in hardcopy.
Scope and Content Note
The publications and papers within this record group have been divided into two sub-groups based upon format and subject matter. The subgroups are: campus publications and microfilm.
The
newspaper Statesman was the campus’ first student managed
publication and the digitized version of this publication is available online.
The project, begun in the spring of 2004 and completed in 2006 by the
University Libraries, included microfilming and digitizing every issue
of this newspaper.
The Stony Brook Press, Blackworld, and many other
digitized campus publications can be accessed here.

consists of campus sponsored publications both cataloged and un-cataloged.
