The Collections and Technical Services Division is responsible for all aspects of collection development and management, from selection to preservation of all kinds of information resources. The division is also responsible for allocating and monitoring the collections budget, licensing agreements for electronic resources, collection statistics and reports, the gifts program, and maintenance of the STARS bibliographic database. The Special Collections Department and University Archives and the Music Library are part of the Collections and Technical Services Division because of the nature of their collections and the special cataloging and processing required by these collections.
