Whether you need to have a new service installed, a current service modified or disconnected, or perhaps a survey performed, all requests should be sent via e-mail to telnet@notes.cc.sunysb.edu.

You should include a detailed description of the service you need (i.e. move extension 2-xxxx to jack ### in room 123). Please provide us with the name of the contact person, a contact phone number and an account number to cover any and all costs.

If you have questions or need assistance, you can call the TelNet Service Desk at (631) 632-8568. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The office is closed between noon and 1 p.m. daily.

Research Foundation

Before any telephone-related expenses will be billed to a Research Foundation account, a Telephone Authorization Card must be completed and submitted to your Grant Specialist for approval. If the card is being completed for an IDC account, it can be faxed directly to (631) 632-9405. This card is the required authorization to process payments for the telephone bills.
