Students use Sparky as their email system. It is a UNIX-based mail system that can be accessed by mail reader programs (Eudora, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc.), by the web using Webmail, and by Pine for text-based email. Pine is available by logging on to the Sparky server via Secure Shell Client (SSH) or telnet. Support for Sparky is provided by Teaching, Learning + Technology.
