PARKING & GATE ACCESS

The State University of New York at Stony Brook:     The main gate is open 24 hours a day, with restricted access by guard booth at night. Parking around campus is restricted to permit holders (parking lots are marked with signs) and is strictly enforced. There is also a garage (Administration) near the main entrance that charges a per-hour fee. Every ICFA participant will be issued a temporary parking permit (Monday morning at BNL registration) that will allow for parking only in the designated lot near the Student Activities Center (see MAP). NOTICE: For those who are not staying in on-campus housing but want to park Monday morning to catch the shuttle bus to BNL, please use the parking garage.

Brookhaven National Laboratory:     The guard booth at the main gate is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ICFA participants arriving by private vehicle on Monday morning should stop at the booth and identify themselves as "ICFA Conference participants". If there is any problem, call the ICFA registration site (Berkner Hall/cafeteria, extension 3545/3547). Parking is free and abundant on site. NOTICE: Access to BNL after Monday is generally restricted to those who have made prior arrangements or possess DOE identification.
