TEXTURES:

Philosophy/ Literature/ Culture

Hugh J. Silverman, Series Editor

The IAPL, in conjunction with the Continuum Books TEXTURES: Philosophy/ Literature/ Culture Series (edited by Hugh J. Silverman), is pleased to invite conference participants to submit final versions of their papers for possible inclusion in a volume resulting from IAPL conferences. Conference participants are asked to submit a copy of the paper they are offering for publication at the time of conference registration. The IAPL reserves the right of first selection on all papers presented at its annual conferences. Since the number of papers that can be included is limited, the choice of papers will be based on quality and on relevance to the thematic integrity of the volume.

To be considered for the IAPL 2002 volume (edited by Henk Oosterling and Ewa Ziarek), participants should submit a final corrected version of their essay to the editors at the following address:

Submissions should include two (2) hard copies of your essay as well as a disk copy in a WindowsWordPerfect or Word Format.  Final corrected versions must be received no later than September 1, 2002. Complete papers should be submitted on paper and on disk in six separate files: (1) the main text, (2) endnotes, (3) a list of abbreviations and corresponding references used, (4) abstract of paper, (4) bibliography, and (5) contributor’s biographical note. Endnotes should be complete for first citation, with a "henceforth cited as [underlined abbreviation of reference]." All other citations should be included in the main body of the text in parentheses with the abbreviation for the reference, followed by the page number(s). Do not use repeating endnotes for the same text.

  • MAPS AND MIRRORS: Topologies of Art and Politics, Steve Martinot (ed.) (Evanston, IL: Northwestern University Press, 2001)
