Faculty - 10 Month

SUNY is facing significant budget challenges. At Stony Brook University we are looking for ways to meet those challenges while we provide opportunities to our faculty. Thus, we are pleased to offer the Voluntary Separation Program (VSP Phase lII) to Stony Brook University full-time, Faculty/Librarians members (West Campus and HSC). We anticipate that this will be the final program in the Stony Brook VSP series.

In VSP Phase III, Faculty who have 25 or more years of service at Stony Brook University at the date of separation and who were on the payroll full time as of March 1, 2011, are eligible for one of the Voluntary Separation Program options listed below.

Individuals who wish to take advantage of this opportunity must submit the attached packet including their irrevocable letter of retirement or resignation no later than August 30, 2011, to Human Resource Services. Employees who submit the attached packet will retire or resign from Stony Brook University no later than August 15, 2012.
