Faculty/Professional Child Care Disability Period

New York State defines the period of disability for an uncomplicated pregnancy as four (4) weeks before the anticipated date of delivery and six (6) weeks after the delivery, or eight (8) weeks after a caesarean.

If complications arise and you need an extended period of disability, please call Human Resource Services (HRS).
