Special Option Transfer (NYSHIP)
Recently the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP) sent you a notice regarding NYSHIP rate changes effective October 1, 2010 for your medical coverage. The rates are changing because of a provision in the 2010-2011 Emergency Budget legislation in New York State that requires the cost of Medicare Part B premium reimbursement be shared by New York State and NYSHIP enrollees.
