Volunteer with a crisis intervention/suicide prevention hotline

If you want to gain valid health-related experience while you reach out to help people in a very real way, you might decide to apply to become a volunteer with Response of Suffolk County. In addition to running various educational programs about topics such as drug abuse and suicide, Response runs a 24/7 crisis intervention and suicide prevention hotline.
