2013-2014 version of the FAFSA becomes available. Continuing students are encouraged to first complete student and parent (if applicable) federal tax returns, prior to the completion of their FAFSA.
Spring semester aid disbursements begin. Check your award detail on SOLAR for scheduled disbursement dates.
Mid-February 2013
Last day for Juniors (57 credits or more) to declare a primary major to satisfy New York State TAP requirements. To declare a primary major, download the Major/Minor Declaration Form and return it to the Registrar's Office. For the specific deadline date please refer to the Registrar's Office information on TAP.
March 1, 2013
Priority FAFSA deadline for incoming freshmen and transfer students to apply for Federal Work Study, Federal SEOG, and the Federal Perkins Loan for the 2013-2014 academic year and for summer 2013 Federal Work Study. The FAFSA must be received by the federal processor on or before March 1.
Beginning of April
Academic year award packaging and notification begins for newly admitted fall 2013 undergraduate students with a valid FAFSA on file.
Scholarship notifications are sent to qualifying newly admitted undergraduate freshmen.
May 1, 2013
