Stony Brook Southampton Current Projects
We have started to develop a master plan for this campus, which consists of 43 buildings on 82 acres. This plan will identify potential building sites, roadways, walkways, athletic fields, and other items necessary for carrying this campus into the future. Design is almost complete for the new library. Short term capital improvements have been completed in the Fine Arts building, Student Center, Technology Center, Marine Science complex and three residence halls. Some infrastructure improvements have been completed, rooms have been renovated in Chancellors Hall and Natural Sciences and new exterior lighting and blue light phones have been installed.
