Health Sciences Center Tunnel

The tunnel that travels under Nichols Road and connects the main campus to the Health Sciences Center (HSC) underwent a major renovation that began in the summer of 2003 and was completed for the fall semester of 2005. Along with cosmetic improvements such as painting the walls, banners and refinishing the walking surface, lighting and new hand rails were added for user safety and the surrounding area was landscaped to improve drainage and help prevent the accumulation of water in the tunnel.
