Main Campus Completed Projects
- In a project that began May 2002 the Humanities Building underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation. Originally built in 1959, the Humanities Building has been transformed into a modern, state of the art, campus facility.
- The project included a complete interior renovation and total remodeling of the building exterior. Reopened for the fall 2005 semester this new building now houses six academic departments.
- The new design included a minor expansion of the original building footprint but provided a 60% increase in functional square footage for classrooms, offices, department lounges, lecture halls, a poetry room and an enlarged 1,200 square foot main lobby.
- The Humanities Building showcases new amenities and resources for faculty, staff and students featuring a beautiful, glass enclosed and climate controlled 3,400 square foot atrium.
