Laboratory Compliance Inspection
Each lab should conduct regular self-inspections of their areas to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and to familiarize new staff with the location of safety equipment.
Environmental Health and Safety is continuing to inspect all labs on campus. The inspections will cover general safety, chemical safety, hazardous waste, biological safety and radiation safety.
EH&S will be using the Laboratory Compliance Inspection Form 
to inspect your lab.
To help you better understand what is needed to maintain a compliant laboratory and what will be reviewed during the inspections, Environmental Health and Safety has provided the standard responses associated with each inspection question .
