Biography

Allison McLarty treats adults with acquired heart disease who require surgery. Her special interests involve aortic surgery, including minimally invasive endovascular stenting for aortic aneurysms and surgical treatment of aortic dissection.  She is the surgical director of the Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) program and uses leading-edge technology to treat severe heart failure with the new implantable heart pump.  She is active in the Women’s Heart Health program. She also treats patients with lung disease, including surgery for lung cancer.
