To protect the health and well being of our patients, staff and the community where we live and work, Stony Brook University Hospital is committed to continuously improving our programs to reduce waste, minimize the use of hazardous materials, prevent pollution of our valuable natural resources, increase recycling, comply with all environmental regulations, and work toward sustainability.
